Web novel recaps
Make web novel recap videos, even when there's no manhwa.
Ravember is the toolkit behind Mr. Fool Explains, a Hindi recap channel with over 2 million views on its top recaps. It turns the novel's own text into the pictures, the narration and the finished video.
The problem with footage
Many recap channels use clips from an anime or pages from a manhwa, and get claimed or demonetised for it. And most novels have no anime or manhwa at all.
Ravember starts from the text, so the pictures in your video are new ones made for your recap. (The story itself can still belong to its author: you are responsible for what you recap.)
How it works
- Add the novel. Drop in the novel file or paste chapters.
- Scenes and characters. Ravember finds every scene and tracks each character's look.
- Pictures. Picture prompts for your image maker; every picture checked.
- Voice and subtitles. Free starter voices built in, or your own voice app.
- Export. Motion, transitions, subtitles and a cover, as a finished MP4.
Tips for a good recap
Pick a chapter range that tells one complete arc. Keep characters consistent: viewers notice a hero who suddenly has different hair. Use subtitles; many people watch muted, especially on Shorts. And upload on a schedule: long stories reward regular episodes.
