Terms of service
Last updated: 23 October 2026
Draft: to be checked by a lawyer before Ravember takes real payments. Words in [brackets] are still to be filled in.
1. Who we are
Ravember is run from [Your Business / Operating City, State, India]. Contact: support@ravember.com. In these terms, "we" means Ravember and "you" means the person using it.
2. What Ravember is
Ravember is a Windows app that turns novel chapters into narrated, illustrated recap videos, and this website, where you keep your Ravember account. The app works on your own PC: your chapters, pictures and voices stay there.
3. Your account
- You sign in with a Google account. One Google account is one Ravember account, on the website and in the app.
- Keep your Google account safe; what happens through your sign-in counts as you.
- You must be 18 or older. (Ravember uses Google's Gemini with your own key, and Google requires that age for it.)
- One person, one free plan: making extra accounts to get more free chapters is not allowed.
4. The free plan
Every account gets 7 chapters and 7 chapter mappings free, for life. A chapter counts once its scenes have been written; a mapping counts once the chapter has been mapped. Writing or mapping the same chapter again does not count twice. Deleting a chapter does not give a free one back, and neither does deleting and re-creating your account.
5. Ravember Pro
- Ravember Pro removes the limits on chapters and mappings. It is a subscription, monthly or yearly, at the prices shown on the pricing page when you subscribe. Prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Payments are taken by Razorpay, our payment provider, in advance for each period. The subscription renews by itself at the end of each period until you cancel it.
- If a price changes, we tell you by email before your next renewal; the new price applies only from then.
- If a renewal payment fails, Razorpay tries again for a while. If it keeps failing, Pro ends at the end of the period you paid for and your account goes back to the free plan.
6. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel any time on your account page. What happens then, and our refund rules, are in the refund and cancellation policy, which is part of these terms.
7. Outside services
Ravember works with services you use with your own accounts: Google's Gemini (with your own API key) to write scenes, and the image tool of your choice to make pictures. Their own terms, prices and limits apply. We are not responsible for changes to those services.
8. Your content
You are responsible for the novels you use and the videos you publish, including having the rights to use them. Ravember shows how the tools work; it is not legal advice about copyright.
9. Fair use of Ravember
Please don't share your account, resell Ravember, try to get around the free limits, or copy, decompile or change the app. We may suspend an account that does, after telling you why when we can.
10. No promise of results
Ravember helps you make videos. It does not promise views, subscribers, income or any result on YouTube or any other platform.
11. Changes and availability
We keep improving Ravember, so features can change. Signing in and the free plan's counting need the internet. We try to keep everything running, but we can't promise it will always be available without breaks.
12. Liability
Ravember is provided as it is. Keep copies of your work. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost data or lost income, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. [lawyer to complete]
13. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top changes. If a change matters to you, we email you first.
14. Law
These terms follow the laws of India. The courts at Ichalkaranji, Maharashtra, India have jurisdiction.
