Novel to video
Novel to video, one chapter at a time.
Drop in a chapter and finish with an MP4 you can upload: pictures for every scene, your narration, subtitles, camera motion, transitions and a cover. All inside one Windows app.
What you get
A finished video for every chapter, or episodes of several chapters: the pictures in the right order, each one moving (pan, zoom or Ken Burns), smooth transitions between them, your narration, subtitles burned in or saved as .srt, and a 1280×720 cover for YouTube.
Prefer to edit by hand? Ravember can hand you a ready timeline for DaVinci Resolve instead.
How it works
- Add the novel. Drop in the novel file or paste chapters.
- Scenes and characters. Ravember finds every scene and tracks each character's look.
- Pictures. Picture prompts for your image maker; every picture checked.
- Voice and subtitles. Free starter voices built in, or your own voice app.
- Export. Motion, transitions, subtitles and a cover, as a finished MP4.
The narration
Use the free starter voices built in, or your own voice app. Ravember sets the loudness for YouTube, writes the subtitles, and matches every line of narration to the right picture.
Built for long stories
Ravember was made for series with hundreds of chapters. Queue several exports and let them run one after another; it can even put the PC to sleep when they are done.
Questions
How long does a video take to make?
It depends on the length and your PC. With a graphics card the export runs several times faster than real time.
Which languages can the narration be in?
The novel can be in English and the narration in Hindi or English.
Do I need a video editor?
No. Ravember exports the finished MP4 itself.
